Hi
I've ended up here after starting a project to keep myself busy during the Covid-19 shutdown here in New Zealand. So far I have managed to get a very old PI b+ up and running, added a WiFi dongle and all seems to be working but when I tested the GIPO outputs they are running high (3.3vdc) and drop to low when I switch the output on from the test page. Sorry I am unable to find any info on this and am unable to test with the relay board as the postal service is shut down as well!
Appreciate any advice
Ben
Hi Angelo,
Thank you, that's exactly want I was looking for but was unsure how to explain it :)
I think I will wait for my parts to arrive and then test further.
Stay safe and thank you again
Ben
Hi there, This is the standard setting, it is due to the fact that most of the relays board work with negative logic. It is possible to set it with positive logic. You should go to hardware setting page, click edit on the hardware table and look for the water relay output. There is field called logic. Turn it to positive and now you will get the the 0v when inactive and 3,3v when active. Hope it was clear. Let me know. Regards, Angelo
