Hi I'm new to the system and I'm trying to do a self irrigation system but I have some concerns that I didn't find an answer maybe someone can help , I'm trying to fit the components in an electrical box outside and I'm worried that it could be a little bit hot inside and I'm thinking installing a heat fan based on the temperature inside box for example it switched on @ 30 Deg and sitch off @ 25 Deg

Hello, this is indeed a good question.
As understood the project will be in Malta where the summer is quite hot.
I can provide some suggestion based on my experience:
1) use the raspberry Zero W, it consumes less power, so it dissipate less power and it works perfect for irrigation.
2) If possible put the box in the shadow so the solar radiation will not directly hit the wall of the box.
3) Make some holes in the bottom/side of the box to promote air exchange (if the box is exposed to the rain, then be careful with the position of the holes)
4) A temperature sensor in the box might be a good idea, it can be directly connected to the Automation Boards or the Raspberry and measure the temperature trend.
5) The Fan might not be needed, temperature of 40 degrees in the box should still be ok. Anyway this can be better understood from the temperature sensor reading. If you add a fan, be sure to have the correct air inlet and outlet. The automation function of the Hydrosys4 can drive the Fan ON/OFF based on the temperature.
Hope this was useful,
Angelo
