Now from release 3.21 we have this feature. To disable the WiFi, go to "network" page, click "advanced setting", you will find a field "WiFi Enabled/Disabled:", set it on disabled and click "submit".The WiFi will be disabled. In case the system restart due to power outage, the WiFi will be enabled as Access Point for 3 minutes and then will be disabled. The 3 minutes (180 sec) is given by the other setting in the same page "Access Point time (sec):" you can modify also this parameter according to your needs.
I'm only in the early stages of setting this up, purchased relays and valves so far and planning my pipes layout, but you've done a great job on this. The choice of network connection will make my setup a lot easier to manage, thanks.
I too am in the same situation. I have a wired network only on a RPi 3B. The hostapd and dnsmasq services continually spam errors and it makes it hard to use the terminal in raspbian to get things done.
Unfortunately not, but I understand this might be a useful feature in case you use only wired connection.Maybe I'll put in the to-do list, but low priority.

Great support, thanks!

Ok, two requests make the feature get a better priority in the to-do list
