It is my understanding I can configure my resistive moisture sensor to only be powered on when taking measurements - as opposed to being constantly powered on which increases corrosion rate.
I was thinking the "PowerPin" column in the hardware setting config would solve this issue for me, but I'm not quite sure how.
Currently I've got the powerpin set to "2", but the GPIO pin 2 never powers on from the rapsberry pie using my multimeter. Why doesn't the GPIO pin send the 3.3v I am expecting to the GPIO pin 2? What am I doing wrong?
Hello,
Unfortunately this feature is implemented only for the Output and for the Analog sensor reading. Not implemented for other scenarios.
