Hello everybody, i just finished my setup for irrigation with my RPI model Zero-WH and the Irrigation HAT 8.1 board.
i used a 4 relay board, wich is connected 1-2-3 relay to the 3 sector of my irrigation system, and i used the last relay for the garden lighting with timer same as the irrigation.
System is composed by:
1 RPI ZERO WH
3 Electro-valve with solenoid AC "NC" Normal Closed 24v Claber
1 Power Supply AC-AC 220v to 24v
1 Power Supply original for Raspberry PI with output 5v
1 Irrigation HAT Hydrosys v8.1
1 Module with 4 Relay
1 Junction box with window
1 External Power Switch
Here are the picture of my setup step by step:
(How it was BEFORE the automation setup for my irrigation system, it was with manual valves)
AND HERE IS THE IRRIGATION SYSTEM AFTER ELECTRO-VALVES HAS BEEN INSTALLED
(SOLENOID CABLES HAS BEEN EXTENDED/WELDED with thermal junctions in order to reach the distance between valves and controller box)
Power supply 24v inside the Controller Box together with RPI-IRRIGATION HAT-RELAYS
RPI ORIGINAL POWER ADAPTER WAS TOO BIG AND NOT FANCY TO SEE INSIDE THE BOX, SO WE DISMANTLED IT AND WE TOOK THE ELECTRONIC PARTS DIRECTLY INSIDE THE CONTROLLER BOX
EXTERNAL POWER BUTTON HAS BEEN ADDED IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO SWITCH OFF THE SYSTEM FASTER IN CASE OF NEEDS
HERE IS THE SYSTEM DONE AND OPERATIONAL
Hope you like it and many thanks to Angelo & my friend Roberto for the support and help given during this process and preparation for it.
