Hello.
Finally I have had the time to finish up my little greenhouse project, it feels like it's little late in the season but couldn't resist getting the hardware installed yesterday during heavy rain involving mains ...
Now that it stands against the wall i wish I would made it wider, as it stands it is 1900mm wide and 500mm deep.
Enclosure that contains the HAT, Raspberry Pi W, Relayboard x4, water pump, step down module (12V to 5,1V. Currently only using one of the four relays to drive the pump.
It will be set up like this during this season.
Temperature and humidity is measured with an AM2320B (SHT21)
Soil moisture, Capacitive Soil Moisture Sensor with digital output bought from Angelos tindie shop.
Light, BH1750 (GY-302) Barometric & temp, BMP280 but think i managed to kill it with 5V :(
Currently opening the roof manually
Plans for upgrades are endless
Linear actuators for the roof, LED lights, more Soil moisture sensors etc etc ...
I found the +/- input on the HAT board to be really useful, made my installation a lot simpler, some MQTT and im rocking the system from indoors ;)
Wow, it looks so perfect that at a first look it seems like a computer graphics :).
I also started with "only" 4 relays, soon after they become 12 :). As you said upgrade possibilities are endless.
