Use the expert installation procedure in the download page. To have two hydrosys4 on the same network it is required to have different IP addresses. In case you want them to be reachable from internet then also the ports should be different
Planning to run two raspberry's with Hydrosys4 , both connected with same wifi router , how can I give one of them a different IP port number other than 5172 ?
The procedure does not install the new release if there is an already existing (env/automon) folder. This is mostly to preserve the user configuration.Anyway if you want a new installation you can remove the folder (env) and the installation procedure will get the latest files from the GitHub folder.
@hydrosys4 Thanks. Yer I re-ran the the expert installation procedure and found I could choose my own port etc!
Also, how do we update to the latest version of the software. I see on your github changelog (https://github.com/Hydrosys4/Master/blob/master/changelog/change) that your up to release 116a, but after re-running the installation in the "About" tab my system lists as 1.11g?
Hi, unfortunately no easy way. But you can use the expert installation procedure in the site download page, during installation it will ask for port number.Anyway, I think that if you save the link in the browser preferred list, also the port number will be saved.Seems that I'm missing something.
