Hi, I run the program with LED on gpio5. This works fantastic. When I connect relay, although led is low, relay get high and will not go low. I don't know what is causing this.
Although I strongly recommend not to use the relay without optocouplers, then if it works with the test code you posted, then it should work also with the Hydrosys4 which does execute the same code.
Might be that you disabled the ouput? can you check the home page?
Did you get any message on the status on the bottom of the actuator test section?
Can it be the problem is in the hardware? I bougth cheap relay board. Maybe too cheap This is not having optocoupler. Running my python program i foundation no problem, relay switches correct. In the HWtabel you use pulse what does this do?
Hi the high / low setting is not my problem. Running a python program, works fine to activate via GPIO5. So hardware seems to be functional okay. But the hydrosys4 seems not able to do this. It looks something else is not correct.
Yes I found it.. The type of relay boards have vcc that needs to be connected tot. 3.3v. Now it works perfect. Thans for your help.

Just loaded the 8xWater setting and tested with a LED. Everything works as expected.
Just one note looking at your picture: Ensure the Ground and VCC is properly connected.
I use HW config 8water. Did check it by using settings. Run the actuators test. In first line water1 I pushed start. Led stays on.
ok, can you send me the screenshot of the table in the hardwaresetting page?
did you load any preset configuration in that page?
How did you test it using the hydrosys4 program?
I hope this gites you a hint
Need more info: Picture of the wiring from Rpi to relay. Screenshot of the hardwaresetting table. Method you used to test the relay activation.
