Hi All,
I am looking for a simple system to water multiple Plants Indoor. About 5-10 plants at a time.
I am interested in this and I think this works good for me. I saw Irrigation Hat and Automation/Irrigation Hat products. What is the major difference in the same ?
Can I buy all the other hardware in USA for this project ?
Hi There,
In few words: The irrigation hat supports up to 12 relays connections and has 8 physical button that can be configured to activate the relays, it is useful in case you often use manually controlled irrigation and not only the scheduled. The automation/irrigation hat supports up to 16 relays connections, does not have buttons, but it has several physical interfaces. In particular it has an analog to digital converter (0-5v) with 4 analog inputs that can be used to interface analog sensors (including capacitive hygrometers, etc). Both boards have interfaces for digital sensors (air temperature, air humidity and light) as described in the hardware page of the site.
Always recommend to double check the specs on the Tindie shop page as some of the features might change over time. (https://www.tindie.com/stores/angelova/)
Regarding the hardware location, the HAT boards are only shipped from Italy, the other pieces can be purchased almost from everywhere, but I suppose they are all coming from China.
Regards,
Angelo
