Much the same here, I have 2 systems running, one for lawn and one for gardens at second house, this runs on solar and POE for the Pi. Both work fine though I've lost the temperature readings. When they fail I'll look at either SP or design my own system using Shelly relays with an add on hat for temperature/ humidity and rain sensor readings. These have a really good app with remote access and scheduling. That said, my lawn irrigation runs perfectly. Cheers

Thank you Angelo, yes I have all the parts so will make the changes as per the schematic. Yes its interesting how the rain sensor acts as a virtual tipping bucket, turning on and off with rain showers during the day and eventually filling the bucket and switching off for a day, this is user configurable on the rain sensor.

Hello Angelo Firstly thank you for all of your ongoing effort with hydrosys4, I am now running one system as a lawn irrigation system and working on a second system to water my wife's vegetable garden. Secondly, my V10.4 irrigation hat arrived today. it looks great and I can wait to install it! I have a question. I would like to add a resistive soil probe to the board and have already have the MIC2026-1 and other small parts, I can see on the PCB the locations for these, can I simply add these to utilise the "Hydro 1 and Hydro 2" connections? Also for information I have added a rain sensor to the lawn irrigation system for simplicity and wanted you and other to know that this unit is fantastic, though a little expensive. https://rainsensors.com/products/rg-11/ Thanks again Ben

Hi all Just wanted to update and thank beauebay for help in solving my issue with remote access, looking back I should have really worked it out myself but as I'm relatively new to anything network I just couldn't see the wood for the trees! I've set up Hydrosys4 to irrigate my lawn at a holiday home, eventually I plan to add moisture sensors and go fully automatic but at this stage I've just scheduled the 3 areas using the planner and all works fantastic, so thank you. Only issue I'm having so far is remote log-in, I run a Unifi network at both properties that run Unifi controller via Cloud key's and I have no issue logging in and updating etc. However I'm only able to access Hydrosys4 when I'm connected directly to that network. I've set up port forwarding in Unifi, tried changing the IP address, switched off port filtering by my ISP and still no access. Any advise welcome as with summer coming I will likely need to add the odd manual watering. Regards
