Hi I’m trying to build a PH sampler. I want to take sample 4 times daily and email the result. I can fill and empty the sampler with the watering schedule but how do I set the PH sensor to take samples every 6 hours?
Hi, you can set the sampling time to 6 hours (or a little less).
Go to hardwaresetting, edit table, find your PH sensor row and edit the "time" field to something like this: "06:00:00". Then click "confirm and Save" button.
It is a little tricky because the first time you save, it will start counting from that instant.
Anyway when the system reaches the midnight, the time will be reset, so starting from the second day the sampling will consistently happen at given time of the day.
I suggest to try this setting and see the result in the "data" page to check the timing of the reading.
@hydrosys4 i thought that would be the process but when I went to the automation page and chose PH sensor in brackets it said (0mins) which made me think it wouldn‘t work. I’ll try it again. Thanks!
@J80 I tried with the 6h time interval (06:00:00), It provided reading at 00:07, 06:07, 12:07,18:07. The 7 minutes is an offset, which should be taken into account.
I see the issue in the automation page, It is just a visualization bug, I'll fix it in the next release.
In case you have time, can you share the setting and implementation you have made for the PH sensor integration?
"frequency", it is just active for servo output
in hardware what does the frequency column do?
